On 21st November, we had the privilege of attending the ninth annual Texas Salutes the Coast Guard Tribute Dinner in Houston, an event that recognises the remarkable service of the men and women of the US Coast Guard (USCG). In recognition of our long-standing partnership with the USCG, AET hosted a table and welcomed esteemed industry partners from across the energy sector.
Reflecting on the evening, Capt. Mitush Chaudhary, Head of Commercial Operations, Mid-size Tankers, shared: “The USCG’s multi-faceted role not only enhances maritime safety and security but also contributes significantly to environmental conservation and disaster response, making them an invaluable part of our community. This annual foundation dinner is a powerful reminder of the dedication and sacrifices made by the unsung heroes of the USCG, and their families who support them. Their commitment ensures that our coastline and waters remain safe and prepared to respond to any emergency.”
