At AET, we are dedicated to developing young talent for a brighter future, exemplified by our established partnership with Texas A&M University in Galveston, US. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year, we are excited to have increased our scholarship support, awarding eight brilliant new students, bringing our total to 24 scholars. This marks the fourth consecutive year we are awarding scholarships to undergraduates majoring in Maritime Transportation and Marine Engineering since 2021.
Last month, our US team was invited to the Homeward Bound sail, the first event of its kind in 18 years. This one-day transit celebrated the homecoming of the 2024 Summer Sea Term and welcomed the TS Kennedy and Aggie cadets back to Texas. The highlight of the visit was touring the training ship “The Kennedy” and celebrating the accomplishments of these wonderful eight scholars who were onboard.
We are rooting for these young aspiring cadets, as they embark on their maritime journeys and shape the industry for generations to come. As we celebrate three decades of success, we look forward to a future filled with continued growth and opportunity.
